Lenovo Unveils IdeaPad S10 netbook

Lenovo officially announced its IdeaPad S10, a 10-inch (9.8 x 7.2 x .8-1.08-inch) mini-notebook running the 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor.

The IdeaPad S10 will debut in two configurations, the basic model priced at $399 will have 512MB of RAM and 80GB hard drive while the enhanced model will have 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive and will be priced at $499. The netbook will come preloaded with Microsoft Windows XP. With only 2.4 pounds weight, the netbook features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, ExpressCard slot, a four-in-one card reader and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
It looks like we are going to have an MSI Wind or Eee PC 1000H killer this coming September.

The $399 version I think is fairly priced, but you are right, it is still green bucks and if you’re gonna send it to PH, you need to shell out more green bucks.

This I think is the latest from mini-laptops. I like Lenovo’s Ideapad. I’m planning to buy one someday.

I already bought it yesterday.. one think that i love in its feature is the “OneKey rescue system.” you don’t need to install anymore
‘norton ghost” to backup your hard drive, which i usually do on my previous computers.
