HP has added two new systems to its EliteBook business notebooks - the HP EliteBook 2730p and the Elitebook 2530.  The new models push the EliteBook line to the ultra-mobile category.

The 2530p model pictured above is a 12.1 inch notebook being dubbed as the thinnest and lightest in EliteBook lineup. It has a 2-megapixel camera, weighs 3.19 pounds and meets the military standard MIL-STD 810F including dust and high temperature resistance.

The HP Elitebook 2730P pictured above, is HP’s first Centrino 2 tablet. It is also HP’s first full-fledged convertible in the Elitebook line up and one of the first tablets to support a full 8GB of RAM when used with a 64-bit operating system.

Both systems will arrive in September with a starting price of $1,670 for the HP 2730P model and  $1,499 for the HP 2530P model.
