Yahoo Buzz, a Digg-style social news site and “meme tracker” is now open to everyone.  When the service was launched couple of months ago, it was restricted to a few hundred pre-approved news publishers, but now, any website on the web can be “buzzed”.

You can use your Yahoo ID to login to the service and “buzz” stories you like, and the more “buzz” the stories receive, the higher ranking they will get. The stories are ranked based on what people are searching for on Yahoo and what they are voting for on Buzz. The stories will be featured on Yahoo website once they make it to the top rank.
