Michael Phelps, an American swimmer and 14-time Olympic gold medalist who holds the record for the most gold medals won at a single Olympics. Phelps has won 16 Olympic medals, six gold and two bronze at Athens in 2004, and an amazing eight gold at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Do you know that you can swim faster than Michael Phelps? Well, if you are an ordinary swimmer, you have to use Lunocet monofin gear to do it. Lunocet Monofin is a 2.5lbs, 42-inch carbon-fiber swimming gear that acts much like a dolphin tail. Specialists estimated that Phelps swims at around 5MPH, but with the Lunocet monofin, you can go as far as 8MPH. So if you want to beat Michael Phelps, the easiest and fastest solution is to purchase this gear for $1250 up to $1800 rather than going through a lot of training.

According to this article (http://www.popularmechanics.com/outdoors/sports/4278453.html) Phelps is biologically similar to dolphins because of his flexibility. So I guess this product really would help. Obviously there are many factors to his success, but we found the fact especially interesting because we just wrote a blog entry on the difference in speed between Phelps and dolphins: http://nationalaquarium.wordpress.com/2008/08/21/michael-phelps-vs-dolphins-who-wins-the-gold/
