OCZ Technology Group, Inc., worldwide leader in innovative ultra-high performance and high reliability memory has announced their new “P45 Special” memory modules. Available in 8GB dual channel kits and a special 16GB “quad kit,” this new line of modules support the latest memory-hungry applications and games, offering superior performance gains.

OCZ has announced its support for the impending Intel Centrino 2 mobile platform with the launch of their DDR3 SODIMM Laptop Memory for High-End Mobile Systems. OCZ says that their DDR3 SODIMMs are built to provide optimal compatibility using the highest quality components by using sophisticated screening and hand-testing to deliver exceptional system performance.

The PC3-10666 and PC3-8500 memory modules  feature latencies of 9-9-9-24 and 8-8-8-27 respectively and will be available in 2GB and 4GB (2×2048MB) dual-channel kits to make your laptop more productive. OCZ announced that their DDR3 SODIMM memory modules for notebooks help reduce power consumption and increase speed and bandwidth, resulting in a higher performing laptop with a slightly extended battery life.
