OCZ unveils 8GB and 16GB DDR2 Memory

August 7

If you think that the 4GB RAM inside your desktop PC is enough, you better  think again. OCZ Technology Group, Inc., worldwide leader in innovative ultra-high performance and high reliability memory has announced their new “P45 Special” memory modules. Available in 8GB dual channel kits and a special 16GB “quad kit,” this new line of modules support the latest memory-hungry applications and games, offering superior performance gains.

So if you are a gamer, graphic designer, CAD engineer, audio and video editor or just an ordinary PC user who wants to move to 64-bit OS to take advantage of the increased memory resources, then these new memory modules are best for your needs.

“64-bit operating systems are becoming more mainstream and finally enable user memory to shed the 2GB limitation of 32-bit OS,” commented Dr. Michael Schuette, VP of Technology Development at OCZ Technology.

However, there are no words yet from OCZ about the pricing and availability of these new memory modules.
