September 11

How can I forget this image when the last time I was inside the World Trade Center was September 10, 2001 at around 8PM to get to Jersey City via PATH train. The first real Flying Saucer

June 18

Chinese company named Harbin Smart Special Aerocraft has developed a flying saucer prototype that can hover in the air and can be controlled remotely. The aircraft is 1.2 metres (4 feet in diameter and is able to take off and land vertically and hover at an altitude of up to 1,000 metres.

The unmanned craft is driven by a propeller and can be controlled remotely or sent on a preset flight path. Unfortunately, it is unable to transport anything heavier than a cat. Its top speed is 80 kilometres (50 miles) per hour.

It took the Chinese company 12 years and 28 million yuan ($4.1 million) to develop the prototype craft, which is designed for aerial photography and geological surveys.
